About Us

Shubhakshika Educational Society is an NGO dedicated to reducing the hardships of underprivileged communities and bringing hope into their lives. It is registered with NITI Aayog (Unique ID: DL/2018/081211) and has 12A, 80G, and Government of India approval for CSR activities. Its Education Center (OBE 027003) is accredited by the National Institute of Open Schooling for certified Open Basic Education.

The NGO was established in June 1993 under the Societies Act of 1860 by academicians - including professors from constituent colleges of Delhi University, school teachers - professionals, and other individuals dedicated to social causes. Since then, it has been committed to uplifting underprivileged and marginalized communities.

Message From Founder

Dr. Usha Bhatnagar

Nurturing has always been a part of who I am, and children - especially those in distress are very close to my heart. So, immediately after my retirement from Delhi University, I began doing my part to support young ones in need of care.

With this vision, I founded Shubhakshika Educational Society to provide academic and social support to marginalized children. I am deeply grateful to my dedicated team, whose unwavering efforts help bring smiles to the children who grow and flourish through our NGO
