About Us

Shubhakshika Educational Society is an NGO dedicated to reducing the hardships of underprivileged communities and bringing hope into their lives. It is registered with NITI Aayog (Unique ID: DL/2018/081211) and has 12A, 80G, and Government of India approval for CSR activities. Its Education Center (OBE 027003) is accredited by the National Institute of Open Schooling for certified Open Basic Education.
The NGO was established in June 1993 under the Societies Act of 1860 by academicians - including professors from constituent colleges of Delhi University, school teachers - professionals, and other individuals dedicated to social causes. Since then, it has been committed to uplifting underprivileged and marginalized communities.

Our mission is to empower and uplift marginalized sections of society by:
- Providing education through formal, non-formal, and certified Open Basic Education (OBE) programs under NIOS.
- Offering skill training to enhance employability and self-sufficiency.
- Supporting the social, economic, and emotional rehabilitation of women and children facing challenges such as domestic abuse, substance abuse, homelessness, crime and so on.
- Ensuring access to essential healthcare for those in need.
