How Interns are Engaged / Job roles for Interns

Interns at SES are required to be physically present at one of the SES centers for 6-8 hours each day (as per requirement) throughout the duration of the internship.

1. On-ground tasks

  • Conducting or assisting in organizing awareness sessions for children, staff or community.
  • Keeping records of activities such as counselling sessions, health check-ups for children.
  • Conducting or assisting during home visits for mobilization, personalized counselling and mentoring of children and/or their families.

2. Desk-based tasks 

  • Maintaining and verifying stocks.

  • Assisting in financial activities such as accounting, auditing.

  • Contributing to documentation, detailed report-writing and proposal writing for new initiatives.

  • Contributing to fund raising.

  • Managing social media handles.

  • Engaging with those contributing to the NGO or potential contributors in any way.
